The story behind Pavenyra
Having information does not always mean knowing what to do next. Pavenyra began with that concern: an initiative started by Giovanni Macli from his experience as a student to make educational guidance clearer.

The beginning: a familiar question
Graduation requirements, courses, deadlines and future options can be scattered across portals, documents and conversations. The information exists, but connecting it into an understandable plan can be difficult.
The project’s earliest materials start with Giovanni’s experience as a student. The aim was to help people understand their options, recognize what still needed verification and prepare better questions for a counselor. An initiative to make guidance and educational opportunities easier to navigate grew from that concern.
From Pathora to Pavenyra
The project’s earlier name was Pathora. Its prototypes explored ways to bring planning, goals and different paths after high school together in a more understandable space.
The project became Pavenyra and continued to refine its approach. Its documentation preserves the Pathora chapter as part of that evolution. The current focus brings development to the work of the professionals who support students.
Listening to improve
The presentation materials invited people to examine the idea: which problem deserves attention, which tools already exist and what would be useful in practice. They also proposed seeking feedback on clarity, resources and workflows.
That openness to listening is part of development. Proposed conversations and evaluations are opportunities to learn; they do not represent partnerships, contracts or institutional approval. The usefulness of each advance needs to be assessed with its scope and limits in view.
The current focus: supporting counselors
V1 focuses on helping counselors bring public resources together, prepare general materials and organize questions for guidance. It is a closed beta with professional access by invitation, for authorized counselors and administrators.
Technology supports preparation. Professional judgment, source review and relationships with students remain central. V1 does not provide a student portal or accept student records.
What comes next
The vision for V2 includes a student portal. V3 proposes participation by families, teachers and other authorized roles. Both are future stages, subject to review and defined permissions.
The goal is to preserve the purpose behind the project as it grows: clearer, more useful and more human guidance. Future versions have no committed launch date, and their features are not currently available.
